Xmas present

Started a scarf in Aran , pattern is Irish Hiking scarf, here is a pic of WIP . Will post again with an update.

Fingerless gloves

Gloves now finished and DD2 is very happy with them, knitted in Aran yarn they are very warm indeed. I will have to find time from somewhere to knit a pair for myself.

It was such a big project that i was very pleased indeed when my DD2 asked for some fingerless gloves.

Wow, over 200 posts. Never thought i would have that many. Just to say thank you for looking at my blog and being so kind in leaving a message :) I haven't posted for a while (again) but i promise here and now to do better. Quick update on the bolero, i have finished one sleeve and about half way through the other, when completed i will post a pic. Thanks again.

Thanks for your lovely comments. This is the first time i've knitted using this yarn (think it had just arrived in the shop) there was a jacket already knitted up in the shop and that mind my mind up for me, finished the back, just the sleeves to go now, not made as much progress as i would of hoped by now, too much going on in everyday life and that's the reason also i haven't posted on here for a while, hope to catch up a bit now and start posting much more:) Thanks for looking and your interest in my blog :)

Current WIP

This is my current WIP, knitted on 10mm needles, which knits up nice and quick (thats good for me, as i can sometimes get fed up mid way through a project because it's not moving along fast enough), it's a King Cole pattern and the yarn is called Aero, very nice and soft.

Here are the lovely items sent to me through the dishcloth swap over on Angel Knitting Forum, two dishcloth's, Thorntons chocolate bar and lovely smelling handmade soap, i'm a very happy mouse :)

I've got all tangled up!

Hi, decided to take the plunge and start a blog, well everybody seems to be doing it, so i thought it can't be so difficult but you guessed it, i got all tangled up! Anyway i promise to keep practising and hopefully i'll get better, well can't get any worse :( This will be my test post, here goes.....................
