Happy New Year

I would like to wish you all a very happy and healthy 2010. Hope you had a lovely christmas and had time to relax and enjoy it all.

I've been thinking alot about this blog over the festive period and i'm thinking of closing it down, i don't get many visitors and i have been having trouble uploading images! i enjoy other peoples blogs and spend a great deal of time reading those and leaving messages so i just wanted for now to wish you all the best for the coming new year and maybe we will speak again, just haven't made my mind up 100%. Take care. x

Kirstie's Homemade Home

Hi, did any of you see this programme on Channel 4, Thursday nights? I really enjoyed it, thought it get better with each episode. For me there was something in every episode that i was interested in (can't say that about too many tv programmes) knitting, quilting, spinning and the beautiful glass. I love Kirstie's other Channel 4 programme, so to watch her do up her home was a joy to watch, especially when she include so many crafts :0) Loved the knitting slot, thought the group and shop looked fab
and the quilting, wouldn't you just love to go to that quilters workshop, just gorgeous.
Hope you are having a sunny and fun weekend so far, be in touch soon, bye for now. x

Weather not too good here but don't expect any different on a bank holiday! Hope your having a good Monday wherever and whatever you are doing. Will post again soon. Look after yourselves

To close or not to close?

Hi all, again not been on here too much, just don't seem to find the time. I have made loads of excuses in the past so not going to do all that again, i love reading everyone else's blogs and find them fasinating but just don't seem to have anything quite as good to blog about . I will ponder over this in the next couple of weeks and let you know what i decide. In the meantime i will keep reading your blogs and maybe get some inspiration!!!!

2009

Hi, hope your start to 2009 has been a good one so far.
This year i'm not going to make any new year resolutions because lets face it how many of us actually keep them! you never know what life will throw at you, time flies by and before you know it the year has passed by. So with that said i have decided to just mention a few things i have been thinking about and will add others to future blogs and just go with the flow :0) I've joined the stashalong over at AY forums to try and reduce my stash (although it's not as big a stash as some i've seen). My current WIP is a Gilet knitted in Hayfield Galaxy Chunky, lovely and soft yarn, i will post a pic later on and hopefully let you know of one or two others things in the pipeline. Take care.
P.S Don't forget to stop by and let me know what you are up to for 2009. x
